Stupid Co-Workers
« on: January 07, 2018, 05:48:05 am »
The only name that fits. There are two women who work in my office area that are constantly arguing and fighting and telling on each other and talking about each other. That is unless they need to join forces to attack somebody else. They are about to drive everybody in the entire building crazy.

They talk nice to your face when you are there or when they need something from you and then when you aren't there they talk about you. I do not get why people act like this.

Apparently you cannot be fired for being a stupid trouble maker. I sure wish you could be though.

Anybody else work with completely insane co-workers?

During the day I am blessed with working with some of the most intelligent individuals I have ever encountered. Outside of work they may have odd little quirks bt those never surface during working hours. Everyone is focused on getting the job done and are constantly aiming to improve upon efficiencies. The biggest problem is too many meetings and the appearance that change for change sake is the goal. this job is salaried and not preparing for meetings costs the company time and money. New time saving ideas are handsomely rewarded. My second job is not as progressive and the employees seem to come and go in a revolving door manner. Meetings at the second job take longer as many employees come unprepared and ask questions that, had they prepared, would not have wasted the time of others. Job number two is contract work and time saving efficiencies are rarely utilized and never rewarded.

Yep. i did. i flipped out one day at them and then turned in my resignation at the company even though I loved my job. i was so disappointed in them and others that were the same way that I just couldn't work for a company like that.

I worked from home after a short stint working in a hospital but had to leave because my mom needed constant care. The hospital was very understanding and asked if I would be able to work at home part time and I jumped on it, stayed there 10 years, and picked up more work as an independent for different hospitals at the same time and never looked back.

I'm sorry that you have to be in such a toxic environment.  The sad truth about hatefulness is that it hurts the hateful one more than the object of the hate.  Letting go of anger and the desire to "get even" is the only option that offers some form of peace and contentment.  I also remember the words of Jesus when he said, "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God."

I think everyone has had some stupid co-workers in their time.  I know I have.  I just always ignored them and did my job how it was suppose to be done and let them ruin their own job.

One of my aunts and her daughter were like that and they're both miserable. No reason to be that way as a person.

Oh yeah - a bunch of that goes on at my job.  I work in one department 99% of the time.  On rare occasions I'm asked to help the department right next store.  I wasn't there for more than a 1/2 hour and one of em' is going on and on about another.  Kinda feels like walking into the high school locker room or girls bathroom hearing the he said she said junk.  Wish people would just worry bout themselves and do there jobs.

I work in a shop so most all the people get along, But in the office they have a few people who do that and have been warned for it.  Usually somebody crosses a line and it stops for a while then they are right back at it.  I don't care as long as the people stay in the offices.  This is people feeling there feelings too much at work.

I am retired/disabled now but I worked many years at several different places and never ever worked at one place that didn't have someone  like you described.  I never understood why people couldn't just come to work, do their job and let others be.  Well sorry you guys have to suffer through these two ignorant people.

There's a lot of people who are like that. It's obvious that they don't have much work to do and have time to talk about other people.

I have encountered this in the past.  I did my best to ignore and I know it hard but it better to stay out of.  They both finally left the company and now years later my co workers are great.  Guess it happens all the time and everywhere
