Expensive Start to the New Year

So my daughter went to start her on Tuesday and it won't start.  We assumed it was because it was cold here near Chicago.  She took my car to work and later my husband finally got hers to start but after letting it warm up for about 20 minutes it was make a loud whining sound.  So we took it to be looked at.  Pick it today and after $1100.00 in repairs it need a new timing belt, water pump and power steering pump.  Get way to start saving more which was one of my goals this year.

Sorry to hear that.  I had my daughter in the car and when she got out of passenger seat and closed the door the outside mirror broke into 3 pieces.  The problem is it’s a heated mirror so it’s going to cost a lot for replacement.

 Sorry to hear that. I wish there was affordable insurance for car repairs.  Car dealerships have expensive warrantees and many of us including myself by older cars that aren't covered by warranty's
