What happened to the Debate and Discuss Forum?

Is the debate and discuss under the subtitle of the subtitle because I can't seem to find it.

Are we not allowed to debate and discuss anymore?

No one seems to be debating or discussing anything here. Just question and answers of things that really belong under the Off Topic forum, not the Off Topic Debate and Discuss heading.

The subtitle under Debate and Discuss is: "A place to have political, religious, and other divisive discussions. Enter at your own risk!" 

I don't think snow, or favorites of anything is political, religious, or other divisive discussions. They are normal everyday topics.

I would like for someone to answer my question on the subject allowing debate and discuss, please.

People haven't been debating and discussing for a long time.  It's just the same as the Off Topic forum.  If you want to start a debate and discuss go right ahead.

Debate definition is a formal discussion on a particular topic.... in which opposing arguments are put forward  There hasn't been any debate and discuss for a while. They are they same kind of questions as found under the Off Topic header, which are every day questions on every day items. So why post those items under the Debate and Discuss sub-heading? There's nothing to debate.

It's just as well. Just a lot of people getting worked up and heated over everything. Personally, I got sick of the drama.
