Have you ever saved any animals ?

No, I've never had the opportunity to save an animal, other than adopting pets from shelters. My mom, though, saved several animals off the streets when I was a youngster. She loved animals and was even a vet assistant and a pet groomer.

Our family has adopted cats and dogs from the Humane Society so that is a SAVE.

As a kid, we tried to save a baby opossum whose mother had been hit by a car, but we were unsuccessful.

We took in a starving cat one time and she became a wonderful pet for the family.  Otherwise, just adopting from the shelter.  But I do consider that saving them.  They have to dispose of so many at times.

This summer we trapped a mother cat and her 4 teeny kittens from my sister's yard. A nice neighbor took and fostered them and they've all been adopted out including the mama.

All my pets (dogs and cats) have been rescues.  I think of that as saving a pet.

Yes. I have saved birds, a rabbit, and one rat.  Rats are God's creatures too.

I've always gotten my pets from a shelter...so that's saving them.  I've also nursed a baby rabbit, a baby squirrel and a baby pheasant back to health {not all at the same time}

I've gotten our past two pet cats form shelters, so I agree with the sentiment that getting a shelter animal is saving it; but I think getting a kitten from a farm or from a feral mother is also "saving" it.

I have never saved any animals, but I would like to if I can. I saw on Instagram a video of a man saving a kitten and it was heart-warming to see that.

We've had to help baby birds before, birds who were trapped somewhere, etc. We also had flying squirrels in our attic recently and had to dreadfully get rid of them.

My JC, Mom cat and babies were starving, so they were my cats until they left. JC only one kitten stayed that is why I say the mom cat gave me her baby.  special
