Today is National Sock Day--Dec. 4--how many matching pairs do you have?

I have around 20 pairs.

I will celebrate "sock" day because I am wearing them!  In FL, we usually wear sandals, but this week it is full shoes with socks

I don't know how many pairs i have,i don't count my socks.

I have a lot of matching socks but I think I have more that have lost their mates than that are together!

       As many as I need, depending on weather.
       Pairs is a different story.
       Have you ever heard of the case of the lost sock?
       One sock lost in the washer or dryer!
       The case of the invisible sock!

I don' have a count of how many socks I have total.  I would say almost every pair I have is a matching pair though.  I have white anklet socks, black socks, navy socks, trouser socks, and low cut athletic socks.

Today, the stores sell unmatched socks as PAIRS.  The kids get these!

SOCK  day?? hahahha  i once wanted to make a sock chain letter, where you mail 10 socks with no mate to the people on the list... i figured i'd get 250, 000 socks in two weeks and would 4 sure make some pairs!!   hahahah

I have more socks than I need! Last winter, a local family center that helps people who need food and clothing and help with their bills put out a plea for socks.  They said their sock pile had been depleted because there was so much need in cold weather.  So if you have more socks than you need, you might find a place that would be happy to pass them on for you.

I probably only have 15-20 pairs of matching socks but since I wash clothes frequently its not a problem for me not to have more.  I don't wear socks everyday either.  If I'm home I usually just wear my houseshoes with no socks.
