spending time with them...take them out for lunch or fix their favorite meal for them..just spending time with them is the most important thing..

I vote for gift cards.  You can get them for restaurants, movies, stores, whatever they like.  I often give amazon gift cards to my kids so they can get what they want and my oldest daughter always sends me restaurant gift cards.
