Some banks now offer mobile apps where you can deposit checks and stuff on your phone. For convenience it would be great but I kind of don't trust it. I feel like it would be too easy for someone to steal my phone and I don't want all my banking stuff right there on it. Do you do mobile banking?

Some banks?  ALL banks offer mobile banking.  I don't understand how the take a pic of the check and deposit it works.  Looks to me like you could do that and then take the same paper check and cash it somewhere else.  As for someone stealing my phone I keep a close tab on it all the time. And it is an APP and they would have to have the password to the phone and then also the password to the app so I am not too worried about it.  I access a lot of accounts thru apps on my phone.

No I have not gotten into mobile banking. I prefer online banking on my computer because it just seems safer.

I use an online bank and don't know what I'd do without it.

My online bank is a thousand times better than my in town bank. I would drop the in town one, but I like the kids to be able to go into a brick and mortar until they are older to understand finance a little better.

Yes. I do so with a credit union app. Sites and mobile apps need to somehow include a security camera so they can make sure they recognize you along with any account you have started and that the account only works for you!

I guess I'm old school and not comfortable with mobile banking yet.  I use online banking but that's it for now.

Yes, I have been using mobile banking for quite some time and absolutely love the convenience of just taking a photo of signed checks and sending them to the bank from my phone. It has worked great for me for years and has all kinds of security features to it that make it a pretty safe thing to do.

You have been able to deposit checks, and other things, through the computer for quite a while.  I understand your concern, but I don't feel it is any less safe than doing it on the computer.

The banks have been doing that for quite some time now.  It seems to work.

I don't really trust it either. I rather just go use the ATM or go inside the bank.
