Singer actress Della Reese passed on at the age of 86 this weekend. She was probably most famous for her role in the long running series Touched By An Angel and her hit song "Don't You Know?" RIP

if the news report is true then very sad. theres something else shes known for too . that is when ref Foxx on Sandford and Son was mocking a heart attack making a joke of it on the show she told him I wouldn't do that because when you joke about something like that even in acting that could happen to you in real life. sure enough Red Foxx did die of a heart attack.

It was just a joke. I don't know how he died but if it was a heart attack it wasn't because of the "this is the big one" thing he done all the time.

I was just starting to enjoy Touched by an Angel reruns when I heard the news. I guess she really is an angel now.

Wow although 86 is a good long life by most standards it is still sad to hear.  My hubby and I used to always watch that show - wouldn't miss it.  Well RIP Della

Oh geez Della Reese too? I hadn't heard about her passing, although now I remember seeing something on Yahoo about her but I didn't read the story. She lived a long life so that's a plus, but it's still very sad. RIP Ms. Reese

Awww, I didn't hear of this until I saw it posted here. So sad! But she led a very good life. She was a funny lady. "You shot my pinky toe!" I will always remember her saying that in the movie Harlem Nights. LOL
