I really understand where you are coming from I only hope you find the answers you are looking for  but maybe Mom is the first place to check with

Hello! :D :)

Yes ideally however my mother is not telling me the whole truth so I have to look else where. I would much whether ask her it would be a lot cheaper. Thanks for understanding! :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

Never done a dna test and I'm not sure how accurate those are but acentory.com is pretty good.

Yes, if we only knew when we were younger to ask the questions while many of our elders were still around.
I have a couple of boxes of pictures that I have no clue who or how they are related to me.

Yes!  I have those pictures, too.  I don't know why they are so much more important to me now, but they are, and I would love to identify the pictures and find out how the people are related to me.  There's just something about blood relatives.  I did several "interview" videos with my mom when she was in her early 90's and could still recall details easily, but my camera quit working and I can't find any way to play them back.  I've tried to have the discs digitized, but the first company sent them back to me, saying they could not convert that type of disc.  (after they advertised that they could convert anything from your attic)!  Finding a way to watch these videos has risen to the top of my "to do" list.  I may end up having to find the same camera on Ebay in order to watch them.  Nothing is ever simple these days!
