LOL, I dread when we receive a package where the item is packed in bubble wrap. My husband will not stop until every bubble is popped, and those little pops kind of annoy me! Oh well, if that's his only vice, I can live with that. :in-love:

I think I use it more for popping than for its intended purpose. Oh well, at least I enjoy the popping part. It's something that you never grow out of.

There is something stress relieving about popping those bubbles. I remember getting gifts as a kid and I would set the gift aside and just sit down and pop the bubble wrap, lol

It would be super fun to use as Christmas gift wrap, because kids love to pop them

You can get some at the dollar store. Then again, if you know people who get lots of packages in the mail, they may have some to give to you.

20  years ago, I was trying to teach my toddler grand-daughter how to jump.

I got out the bubble wrap, and showed her she needed to jump to pop the bubbles (she was so light weight back then).  She thought it was so fun to make the popping noise.

Fun memory. Now she is a mommy with a toddler.

 :rose:

What a cute story!  You should share it with her so she can try it with her toddler!

I love bubble wrap, not just to pop but when I have to send gifts to relatives.  It's a strong material and less messy than the packing peanuts (which I use the new biodegradable ones if I am stuck using this).  I can always trust the fragile items will be whole when they get to where they are going.  Honestly, I don't use anything else.
