Have you ever been contacted by a stranger on the internet and if so, what did you do? How did you handle it?

No I have not and if I did I would probably ignore it.

Yes I have. I saved their messages and any posts that made me feel uncomfortable and gave the information to the police. it would depend on the situation. mine was a online stalker. for less serious situations I tell the stranger I don't feel comfortable with you contacting me on the internet. I don't know who you are. would appreciate you don't bother me again. on facebook when I had one I blocked them reported to the social network.

Millions of times, the most memorable being a stranger that wanted to buy a domain name I owned and I sold it to him for $1,500 last January.

No, thankfully I have not but if it happened I would try and block them in some way or report to the police if I really felt it was a threat or uncomfortable position to be in.

I have, in Facebook. I juste ignored them. I also play words with friend and some guys want to talk and know things and when I ignore them they don't want to play.

I have been contacted many times. If they're being obscene or harassing me, I block them if I can, otherwise I ignore them.

No thankful and only accept invites on Facebook if a friend of mine is friends with them and want to play a game. I figured I can always block them there if things get weird. But so far no problems

Yes, when I was heavily involved in online dating. Some of the messages were sweet. Others, on the other hand, were questionable and cause for concern.

I am guessing that you aren't on any type of social media. I would have thought that everyone has been contacted by a stranger on the internet.

Strangers alwyas try via facebook and random calls. Just need be careful

ALL the time! lol ... I'm a YouTuber and have a some what of a small fan base, so I am constantly getting emails and friend requests on Facebook.
