I use liquid now, but pods are very convienent, and when I make my own I make powder b/c I think the homemade powder works best.

Years ago before liquid I used Tide Powder.  Once Tide came out with a liquid I switched and never went back.  I do, however, only use Tide.  When I was a kid my mom changed detergents one time .. It turned out that I was allergic to something in the soap and broke out in hives all other.  We have to rewash all my clothes and I have never switched again.

In our condo, we only can use liquid detergents. No powders. I haven't tried using pods and not sure if we can.

I love the pods! I used to buy economy-sized liquid, but it got too difficult for me to lug it off the shelf in my laundry room. My husband bought some All Free and Clear Pods after that, and I haven't looked back! I do have to use two pods, though, for each and every load.

I use all of the above. I like liquid for my work clothes, powder for the towels, pods and liquid for kids' clothes.

Liquid laundry detergent dilutes faster and better than other laundry products.
Powder products sometimes do not dilute completely...and leave stains in your clothing.
