What do you do for thanksgiving?

I like to stay home and cook a turkey and a pasta  dinner for those who don't like turkey. I also like watching the football games that go with the day :)

We always go to my best friends house for Thanksgiving.  There’s usually 10 of us and it’s a wonderful way to spend the holiday.

We are going to my broth and his family for Thanks giving and I will be making homemade bread (rolls) as usual. My sister- in- law always wants me to make them also a  great dessert of some kind.   Her kids do a lot of the cooking, but none of them can make  the rolls and all want me too. So heck why not.

We just have a family dinner at home. Nothing special. No traveling or anything.

During the past 10 years or so, it has been a mix of different things, but more and more I am just staying home alone and cooking whatever I want.  Thanksgiving dinner is starting to consist of a turkey breast, some potatoes, and a vegetable.  I just want to keep it simple.  Several years I just had a TV dinner.  Not sure what this year will be.  Right now I'm thinking of a turkey breast and some vegetables only.  Maybe some gravy for the turkey.

My husband and I go to my sons house and spend the day with children and grandchildren. We all bring covered dishes. My daughter-in-law usually bakes the turkey because she does it best.

We go to my in-laws for Thanksgiving dinner at noon.  Then we go to my brothers for Thanksgiving dinner at 6 p.m.  Lots of food, family and fun that day.

We live in a community where we have a community dinner.  We all bring a side dish and the community p rovides the turkey.  It is always delicious!
