I do it some of the times depending if the person acts first or not.

Sometimes, especially if the person is extending their hand; but I don't make it a habit ; I really think it depends of the setting (formal, professional etc) .

Not if I can help it - my son's girlfriend never washes her hands that I am aware of and thus has never taught her 9 year old to do so either.  I hate it when she gets to the dishwasher before I do or asks to use my bathroom.  What can you do I have said something a couple of times but it does no good if you aren't in the habit.  I taught both my sons to wash their hands and I just don't get him putting up with it.  Gross is all I can say.

I do just to be polite, and yes I keep hand sanitizer , But never use it in front of the people I am with. I also will hug those who want a hug.  Doing my volunteer work you are exposed to a lot of other peoples  germs. so I also go  to the bathroom and wash my hands a lot  and when it comes time to get the meal  set out I wash again.  It is only polite to    protect yourself but others too.

I shake hands when first meeting someone and if they extend their hand... don't want to be rude. I just don't touch my face, mouth or nose until I use the sanitizer or wash my hands.

Lol unfortunately that's true

If I have to shake hands I always have wet wipes on me.  People are nasty and you don't know where their hands have been.

It depends on the situation and the actions of the person I'm being introduced to.
