It's My Birthday!

Today is my birthday.  Of course I had to work then do house chores but it doesn't take much to make me happy.  I ate chocolate, listened to my favorite songs on a birthday playlist then got to watch my favorite movie.  To me, I'm grateful the Lord let me have another day, begin another year.  Sometimes it's scary when I think about how old I am and how far I've come in life but then I think about all the great things I got to grow up with and do that the younger generation is missing out on.  And I still haven't really grown up all that much.  I still love my old 80's cartoons which I make a point to watch every Saturday morning without fail, and when I have the time I'll sit down and watch an old movie I grew up watching with my grandmother and listen to old cds that I grew up listening too.  But honestly, every day above ground is a good day.  On that note, I've had a great birthday.  So, Happy Birthday to me!

Happy Birthday to you, I'm glad you had a great birthday. My birthday is coming up on the last day of this month I can't believe how old I will be.
