I would like for this discussion to be locked or taken down. Anybody will argue whether or not someone makes a good president, governor, etc. It’s best not to take so-called political sides if hardly anybody if at all gets along about that subject.

What a waste of time and resources to try and bring back the coal industry, it is done. 
 

If private enterprises want to spend time and resources on coal, why stop them? There is still a market.

The issue is that these private enterprises want help from the government to keep them going. They aren't surviving and thriving on their own

That's not accurate. They want easing/rollback of costly regulations that have killed many jobs during the Obama administration. They wouldn't need "help" if the government didn't originally intervene.

You mean the regulations that started in the 70s by Nixon because people shockingly care about preserving natural resources and not contaminating all the nearby water.  Any regulation that came during the Obama administration was just updating and enforcing existing acts

An increase in natural gas use and improved production capabilities is what caused the decline in coal jobs. But yes let's ruin things for the majority so the minority has some jobs. Polluting water sources and causing health problems doesn't matter because some people want to remain in the past and not see that their are better energy sources now

Obama basically vowed to bankrupt coal plants back in 2008. He signed new regulations which superseded previous regulations. He didn't simply update them. That's disingenuous at best. Anyways, it's hard for any industry to survive when the government is trying to kill it.

Tresb, thanks for telling dwiley, the facts on who created more jobs, Trump is a JOKE, he's only looking out for himself and putting his sometimes fake wife out in public,the last one didn't even look like her with those big glasses on and a scarf, I don't care for his way of running this world, he's putting all of our lives in danger by starting WARS with people he don't need to be starting with. I didn't vote for him and I will never VOTE for him. So if you want to put your trust in a man who doesn't give a rats, you know what, then that's your right. He is not the best President, as far as I'm concerned. He's taking away people's medical insurance, how are we supposed to pay for those medicines that cost too much, hospital bills, and co-pays, the elderly is suffering enough, we don't need to stress over how we gonna make it thru the  month on limited medicines. So before you start talking about, Trump is the best president for jobs I've ever seen, think about how he is putting our lives in danger, over foolishness.

I'm curious...What war did President Trump start? I don't watch the fake news much anymore but was not aware we were in a new war lol I also still have medical insurance. He hasn't taken away mine yet. Did he take yours away? Before you come here bashing the President, you may want to check your facts. Google is a good place to start.

He hasn't started any wars yet but if he keeps agitating North Korea and other countries leaders we're getting attacked
