Craft fair bust
« on: October 07, 2017, 08:51:12 pm »
Well I went to my first craft fair and the worst thing possible happened, I made not 1 penny.
the booth cost 23 and then there was gas money and food.

but others weren't doing that well and some of the people that were there last year said it was really slow this year.

so the craft fair sucked but I still feel bad that I made nothing.

I so wanted to make something so I could pay for the next fair.

Sorry to hear that.  I think that they are becoming less popular except near Christmastime.  I used to go them all the time but haven't been to one in years

Thanks all.

It was my first one. And if I can come up with the funds to do another I think I will. I have a list for a few improvements and got some ideas on other crafts that can be done

Worst fair I participated in happened this year too.  It was a farmers market in a campground.  I arrived at 8... set up and was ready by 9.  It ran until 2.  I was the only vendor and only 2 gentleman (still drunk from the night before with beers in there hands) were the only people who came up to the pavillion.  As I was leaving people started emerging from there campers.  I didn't even see the woman who was running the thing...so never bothered paying for my wasted morning.  Lucky for me there was another event going on that night in a local town I was able to participate in.  What is it you make?
