I would love to have an apple tree in my yard! We've only got one tree, and it's an elm -- no fruit there. I'm not a huge apple fan, but my youngest son loves them. I pack a really big apple in his lunchbox every day, and he never gets tired of them.

I used to have an apple tree on my property but it died and had to be chopped down. It had really tiny not-so-tasty apples on it anyways. Now when we want apples we drive into southern NY State to a town called Waldwick that has loads of apple farms nearby. We can pick our own apples of several different varieties there.

I had a summer apple tree when I lived in my hometown, that was over a decade ago.  It was nice but I prefer red apples.

I currently have a pecan tree in my front yard.  I've decided to gift neighbors bags of pecans instead of the usual holiday gift bags I usually give.  Should be appreciated- pecans are expensive.

I had an apple tree and crab apple tree but the deer always came and ate them.  I cut both down last year.

I have about an acre and a half of apple and pear tees. They are pretty well shaped. The have a very good taste. I live in the country with about 25 acres. I let my neighbors come a pick them some too. :monkey:

We had an 2 apple trees in our yard when I was younger.  They were green apples and mom used to make pies with them.

Where I live, I don't think the soil just right for it.  Too many chemicals and too many others to name for growing trees of any type.

No I don't have any fruit trees.  I'd love to have an avocado tree but I don't live in the climate for it.
