Suggestion: Referral thread
« on: September 21, 2009, 03:09:38 pm »
I wish we could have a thread where we could post referral links. Other GPT sites have that, and they don't suffer from the competition. And it would be another incentive for more people to join this site, if they had a place where they could advertise their other sites. Maybe they would find out that this site is better than most of the other sites they are currently with!

No, we do not spend money on advertising to lose our customers to other sites.

I get more referrals for other programs from this forum than any other I post on just the way it is. Don't mess with it.

I actually like the way FC is set up. None of us are competing for referrals and spamming advertisements promoting other sites. This way we have the ability to reply to posts we actually read. We can vent, ask questions, post suggestions, etc. with no alterior motives. I like it this way. As far as I am concerned, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
