I would also be afraid of someone reading my texts, plus I don't like the idea of having to X out ads constantly. So thanks for the info, but I won't be trying it.

The only person I text regularly with an android (that I know of)  is my son.  I don't suppose he would be interested in this app.  Of course I could ask him.  Who knows maybe he and I could both make a few extra bucks .  We'll see. Sounds a little like a pain.  I agree with others.. getting others to use the app could be a problem?

I think most of you are hitting the nail right on the head. So far my experience has been this: it is more like the old AOL chat rooms where you can add random people to your contact list within the app; and less like modern texting with actual family and friends. There are a few FC'ers that I have had intermittent chats with -- just yesterday texting about my adventures helping my ten year old with math and social studies homework.  But by far the majority of my encounters with the app have gone differently. 


Many users resort to simply texting gibberish, messages with single random letters, or messages with random emojis. While not actual meaningful conversations, those still count as qualifying texts and increase progression toward the magic number of 15,000. Unlike posts in the FC forum - where contributory content is required - meaningful content in this app really isn't required because the whole point is to get users exposed to and interacting with the ads.


I've been at it for two weeks mostly in early morning hours before work or in the evening during wind down time and have made close to $4.00. Granted, in that same time using FC I've earned close to $20. But sometimes, the mindless chatter is preferable to the attentive concentration that survey work requires.

      Any ‘texters’ in the house? I found a new app called Blabber by a company called Apps that Pay. If you sign up and set up an account, you can text your contacts/family/friends (who also need a Blabber account). Only available to iOS and Android phone users because it is an app you have to download to the phone. It is set up just like any other messaging app. They will pay you 1˘ for every 10 texts you send.
 
The app will throw up ads that you can click through –which is how they can afford to pay for the texts. You have to find the “X” or the “no thanks” or other (not always obvious) mark to close the ad.  Sometimes it is immediate and sometimes it is on a timer.
 
Payout is made via PayPal once you reach 15,000 texts ($15.00).  I’m only at 50˘ currently (just a few days into it), but I have been paid by this company on some other apps in the past and the app admin is very responsive to questions submitted through the app.  (You actually get credit for any support requests you send by text to the admin!)
 
They prohibit you from sending more than three consecutive texts to the same member unless/until you get a response from that member. That keeps people in check from sending 1000 texts in a row to an unresponsive account. So most users just send out short text bursts in packets of three.  Send three text bursts of three each and you’ve (almost) made your penny.  If you have a willing text partner with time to respond right away, you can each rack up the credits over several minutes.  The ads might slow you down from rapid fire texting, but it is still possible to earn a pretty penny.
 
I know this won’t be for everybody and some might belittle or find fault with the concept, but if we will click through several hypermx videos for a penny, is this really all that different?
 
If you sign up, search for my username (same as the one I use for FC) and send me a Contact Request. (You CANNOT text anyone who does not confirm your request – and if a user ends up spamming you or creeping you out, you can delete them from your contacts). The best way to earn on this Blabber app is to increase your friends/contacts. So please feel free to add me if you sign up.  Also let me know if you came from FC, because I intend to use this app to send out my FC referral link.  The app will be filling up with users looking for ways to earn online.  FC is still the best, so why not steer them in this direction too!

Sound like a good way to make some money on something that you do anyway. I'm not a texter so it wouldn't be good for me.

10 texts for 1 cent?  That is really asinine.  All that work for 1 cent each.  You work all day to make a few cents. Not for me.

You know the really ironic part? Many of the folks I've approached on the Blabber app have said that they looked at Fusion Cash and that it is too much work for what you get paid - and I cannot convince them otherwise.  And many people here in this Fusion Cash thread have indicated the opinion that the Blabber app is too much work for too little pay.  Yet it isn't any more time consuming than the FC penny videos that many of us do daily to qualify for the PTC earning.


  Oh well.  I'm still getting paid from both... LOL!

I only have one friend who I think would actually sign up for this with me, but we do text a lot. The problem with this is it's such a small amount of money. I mean, is it even worth it? I dunno. I'll think it over.

For me that would not work, since I do not do that level of texting! and then if the person I am texting to has to have on their phone also, they may not want it!! but for some people who I see of their phones all day that might work , I may only do one or two text a week so not good for me.
