So proud of my home team Chicago Bears for standing in unity.  We have the worse crime rate and problems with our police force but they showed the world that what it is to be a proud American in honoring our flag and country.

Dosnowski i am also a Bears fan.

I repeat..i am alive and breathe because of Jehovah.I also dont support sending soldiers to the slaughter-house.

I pay my taxes, obey laws and try to be kind to others.I would not dis-respect NOT honoring the flag <burning it etc>and draw attn to myself. But God is the only one deserving to be worshipped.Jesus wouldnt bow to Satan and there are other examples in the bible.

Jesus wouldnt stand for it today either as he said his kingdom was no part of this world.Yet many claim to support Jesus or say they are xtian. They are blinded by Satan and eventually says to them to go away...you dont support me you are from your father the devil.

As a veteran I don't like it, but if they want to protest let them. I just won't watch their games.

To be honest, it doesn't really bother me. Freedom of expression. 'Nough said.

The most important U.S. Supreme Court legal victory won by the Witnesses was in the case West Virginia State Board of Education vs. Barnette (1943), in which the court ruled that school children could not be forced to pledge allegiance to or salute the U.S. flag. The Barnette decision overturned an earlier case, Minersville School District vs. Gobitis (1940), in which the court had held that Witnesses could be forced against their will to pay homage to the flag.

Even the US government respected Gods people NOT to salute flag if it compromised their beliefs.

But no one was paying those school kids millions of dollars.

Try reading the book of Job Buddy and see he kept his integrity while he himself was a very wealthy Oriental turned into poverty and suffering a painful situation.

Or maybe youd like another example of how the 3 Hebrews refused to bow down to King Nebuchanezers idols in Book Of Daniel and risk their lives NOT bowing down to idols and risking theirs lives because they knew who only deserved that honor.

It looks like there are many different interpetations of saluting the flag.I said earlier i wasnt sure how all the individuals feel.It looks like Kaepernack did so with the mistreatment of blacks and police issues.

I know how God feels about it and also a reminder over a half million soldiers died in Vietnam over what?Without the governement accountable? The devil has blinded many with this nationalism BS!!!

Those poor soldiers should be tributed dying....without knowing why......and saluting the flag isnt the way to do it!

The future will be dim for the NFL, if they continue this way, lets start watching soccer instead...

I understand Kap's reasoning for taking a knee and can respect that as well as other people doing so. I remember in elementary school, before class started having to stand, put out right hand over our hearts and say the pledge of allegiance to the flag everyday. The last few words of the allegiance is " ...and justice for all". I believe he feels that not ALL get justice.  :peace:

I'm a veteran, it offends me.  We should send the kneeling football players to north Korea.
