Sit downs! I dont eat as much & it is a nice way to get to have a conversation (buffets always seem too loud!)

I definitely think buffet is the way to go if you're on a budget.  It's a good way to get a good variety of food (and quite a bit of it!) at a reasonable price.

But if you're less concerned about how much you're spending, and more interested in service and higher quality fare, sit-down's the way to go!

I love a good buffet! Vegas have the best buffet restaurants! It's definitely worth spending the money. Sit downs can be so limited.

I like buffets-not because I eat alot but because you have more options. you can customize your meal to what you want to eat. my kids like it too cause they can get exactly what they want and dont have to choose. they can have a little of everything they like.
my fav is a place called SHADY MAPLE in blue ball, pa
it is awesome. its run by amish people and they food is the best. they do brkfast lunch and dinner buffets. each night of the week features a different special for dinner buffet. its great try it if you are in pa.

I like buffet's because there is a bunch of different foods to choose from, but I don't eat enough to warrent paying the price at a buffet, so I usually do the sit down dinner.

Not to be rude, just my personal opinion, but I think buffets are pretty gross usually. Dirty and even the "nice" ones don't have very good food. Yes you may save a few bucks, but I'd rather just eat at home or get fast food in that case. If I'm going to eat out, I'll go to a normal sit down restaurant.

Unfortunately the buffet style restaurants where I live are pretty gross.  The one we did like went out of business when they opened a Golden Coral near by.   :BangHead:  Golden Coral is gross.

Yeah Buffets around here are usually gross around here too. Too many kids and older slow-chooser people built around cheap food. Bleh.

I used to go to buffets and restaurants.
But now I really care about my calorie-intake so I don't go to those anymore. P: Buffets were really fun though.

Hmmm both good choices. Depends on my mood really. Some ways buffet is better you can get what you want even if it is ice cream and chicken and tacos. But it still doesn't have the same flair of sitting at a very nice restaurant. Price ways the buffet atmosphere way restaurant
