I didn't have any eclipse glasses so I stayed in and watched it on TV.I wasn't in the path of totality so it didn't get very dark where I live.

I had a lot of fun watching the Eclipse on TV. I checked outside, but it didn't really get very dark. We only got a small taste of it up here.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

I didn't get to witness 1st hand but saw some friends post on Facebook and it didn't look that spectacular. Now the west coast and southern states like Tennessee got a nice glimpse. I'll try to see it in another 2 years. lol

It got darker here, like early evening.

If I had the glasses, and was in a better position to see it, I probably would have.

I don't have the $$ to travel or get the glasses, car doesn't work well. I am old, and was tired.

Hard to imagine having the money to travel across the country for this event. Watched it on TV.

Happy for those who could. No regrets. More important at the moment to hopefully get my car up and running.

There was not much difference here in Fort Myers.
I heard that Amazon sold special glasses and then ran a retraction because the glasses were dangerous and cause blindness.

My daughter and I watched it, the change it made during the daylight was beautiful, we looked at it without glasses, but not for long, but our eyes still hurt just from taking a little glance, it got better after 45 minutes, she took a pic of the eclipse. Later that day the weather got cooler, felt almost like fall.

Our temperature dropped 7 degrees when the sun was covered.

It was pretty lackluster here up in the Northern USA, ND to be exact.  Didn't get dark at all really.

I saw it on TV.  Live in Fayetteville so we did not get to see it.  I did see it once in 1970.
