I am a turkey person, although at holiday get togethers my family always fixes both.

I usually do both. My husband doesn't care for either and my MIL will cook him a roast too! It is crazy! My husband is so spoiled!

I usually fix both, too, but sometimes I cook gumbo instead just to have something different. This year I'll fix turkey and ham since i didn't cook anything for thanksgiving.
