That  is horrible. When you have visitors over. try and watch all of the moves they make or get your parents to hold your money or someone that you really trust. :(

You know who was at your house, so go from there.  Let's hope it was no one close to you.

Oh, how awful!  Good luck in getting it back.  You need to find a more secure place to keep your cash.
Have a wonderful day!

Sorry that happened.  If you don't trust a bank, a small safe is the way to go and don't tell anyone the combination or just leave it in your will.  I have never had anything taken but I know several places to hid things such as the linen closet, the hem of a curtain, the bottom of the computer, in a speaker, in the dirty clothes hamper etc, think outside the box just remember it's there.

I'm sorry that happened.  I assume you only had friends in, and not strangers (handymen, plumbers, etc), so you know who was in and go from there.  Of course no one will admit to it, and it's sad people can't trust people in this day and age.

I'm sorry that happened to you but I would never have that much cash in my house. Most banks don't charge fees for savings account and you should be able to get interest on it. Even if you don't want to deposit it a safe deposit box at the bank would be a better secure option than leaving large sums of cash around your house

I have had more stolen from me than some people ever own.  A show car, all my collectibles from being young, money etc I am so sorry this happened to you because I certainly know how you feel.  What you can do I do not know.  I doubt the person would own up to it if you asked everyone it could have been.  That is a lot of money and so sad that people have no ethics.

I am so sorry that happened.  Call the police.  File a police report.  I hope the person responsible is found and apprehended quickly.  Please keep us posted.  You will be in my prayers.

Do not blame others...because it is all your fault!
      Do not trust any one.
      Never store cash!
Buy money orders or travelers checks.
      Separate tags and receipts...
If missing, report them to your bank.
You will get your money back!

I just counted my savings and someone helped themselves to a stack of my money!  It was in what I presumed to be a secure place, but I recently had visitors.  I hate to blame anyone but I am not mistaken in the amount that I am supposed to have and the amount that I have now.  What should I do?

Hello! :D :)

I know how you feel I have had a lot of things stolen from me by my own family. It was very hard on me, the hardest was when my college tuition was stolen from me by my mother. I'm so sorry for your lost the only thing I suggest is that you try to find who is responsible in a calm fashion. :angel11:

Our bank draws interest as long as we have over 1,000.00 in it. That is free money on top of what we are saving. Check with all the local banks in your area and make money on what you are saving. Saving money at home is an extremely scary thought! Good luck getting back what is yours
