Yep. I can tell when its August. The garden is in full production and the kitchen counter is full of green beans, tomatoes, beets, onions.  Lots of work to do.

The months are  flying by, school starts here in a couple of weeks right after the fair,  Then hubby goes back to work as a sub. Oh joy. It is so hard  him being home all summer, I just can't seem to get as much done when he is here as I can when he is working. I have just been waiting for it too cool off some so I can get some outside painting done and he can't do much in the heat after having  heat  stroke a  few years ago, I will get as much as I can done and then it will be cooler for him to climb the ladder to finish.

Mid-July in northern Ohio I start to notice birds flocking together, a sure sign we've crossed into the beginning of the slope into fall.

I am glad it's August. One full month of Summer is done thank goodness.
