Off the wall tasks
« on: July 14, 2017, 11:32:25 am »
Sheesh, some of the tasks are so off the wall!! Just did one that actually paid quite well and did not have a quiz mode so that was great! But the task itself was pretty crazy! Tried a different one earlier that was quiz mode and got expelled with an 80% with no explanation. Those irritate me.... give me a reason for crying out loud!! How'd you do on tasks today?  :)

I identify with your comments.  I get paranoid about taking the tasks with quizzes because I never seem to please them, and I'm afraid my percent will go down so much, I won't be able to take any!  So consequently, I don't try tasks unless I have plenty of time and a real need for some extra cents.  I agree that they can be off the wall, but I have found many through the years that seemed easy and fun.  So it always pays to keep trying.  You never know when you might get lucky!

Why, what did it ask you to do? I just started so I'm not familiar with the off the wall tasks!

I have never tried the tasks. What do they ask you to do and how much do you get paid. Trying to amp up my earnings. Just started this month posting on the forum.

Well the one in particular I was talking about, which is gone now, just showed some very strange conversations between 2 people (?)  and you had to make a 1 in 3 guess on the answer it should be. Hard to explain. But it paid nicely, 10 cents for each round. Most of the actual tasks have a quiz mode if you've never done it before and you have to get through that with a high enough percentage before you actually get paid. But some are just surveys that can pay quite well and most are less than 30 minutes. That's one of the main things to watch for on tasks, is the timer. Don't let it run out, keep an eye on it! Because you won't get paid if it runs out. Go ahead and give it a try though! If you open one and you don't like it, be sure to click on "give up", don't just close out the window. Good luck!

The tasks are not always made tobe easy but there doable. They really want to make sure you pay attention to detail when doing them and don't just do anything you wish or please. Crowdflower loves giving out money but they want you to really earn it. But if you get up to the higher tiers on crowdflower you will like it a lot they get higher paying tasks which are worth it
