T Moblie just up the price
« on: July 08, 2017, 07:02:36 pm »
I dont understand why the cell companies keep getting more expansive ?? The plans price are wow! Not to mention the Flagship / new smartphones..
After taxes, insurance and payment plan you can be looking at $70 - $100 a month to have cell phone service...

insurance and payment plans are the worst part. My cell bill is a flat 30.00 a month for talk and text unlimited.  I do not have a smart phone nor will i buy a 700.00 phone that cost 1.98 cents to make. Then pay huge payment only to replace it in 10 months when the new model comes out. My phone is 5 years old got it at target for 39.00  and its sill going and takes great pictures.  My phone bill has gone down over the past few years i also only use a pre-pay plan. No one talks on the phone any more , any way most all text or message.

Is it a contract?  I haven't had a contract in over a decade.  Prepaid all the way.  I have Virgin Mobile and I pay $35 unlimited. Haven't had any problems.

I have Walmart Family Mobile on the T-Mobile Network and the price of my service DROPPED last month! I now pay with Taxes and Fees $27.50 a month for unlimited Talk, Text and 2 GB of Data! I would look around for a better price.  ;)

Wow, I think you should invest in another company. Why would T Mobile go up when so many competitors are unlimited under $50.00? Seems a bit odd.

I have a family plan with two phones and a tablet on it and it's about $100 and its only that high because one phone and tablet are being financed. T-mobile has beyond sketchy service here so I wouldn't ever get it especially for that high

You just have to shop around for a lower price.

That's why I purchased my own phone directly from Motorola and hooked it up with Ting, where I pay an average of $25 a month for both my wife and I.

I have Straight Talk, and my plan has been the same price for all the years I've had it, just under $50 after taxes. The only thing that goes up is my data allowance, it's now up to 8 gigs of highspeed, which is way more than I use. I don't buy Straight Talk phones, though; I get unlocked smartphones from Amazon and use a Straight Talk SIM card.

My phone has a 500 minute start free thingy, an I have no friends calling, so I'm not even half drained minutes wise & its been months.
