No July is perfect time to me to at least start on some level but the problem I have is we are getting into a new house and until we sell the old one will have an extra electric bill and property taxes so we are trying to tread carefully financially.  Need quite a bit for the new house as well.  Also both my sons have summer birthdays so.......... we might go light for Christmas and probably won't start any time soon.

Not for me, I like spreading out my Christmas shopping.  I try to keep an eye out for specials/sales, etc. the entire year and if I see something I'd like to give someone I buy it, no matter what time of year.

No really lol, you got a place to store them lol. You can get summertime stuff you just can't get in the wintertime. I always was on the hunt for stocking stuffers. Shop on girl.

I don't think so.  I have already picked up a few items.  Some I don't know who the recipient is at the moment but whoever will be receiving a nice gift ~ at a great price!

I mean it is early...but why not??! Christmas shopping can be stressful so it would be nice to get it out of the way sooner!

I don't start Christmas shopping now, but it is a good time to start a little fund.

Four teen grand-daughters mean their minds change frequently.....So does my grown duaghter's.  Ha! maybe a gender-thing.

Anyway, I put cash aside starting in August, and buy closer to the date.

If you have a long list of names, it’s never too early to shop for gifts – especially if you start at the beginning of the year. You’ll have the entire year to shop around for better deals for certain people on your list so that way you don’t have to rush at the last minute before Christmas.
