As a whole, I really don't watch them. Some of the people who want to grab their 15 minutes just really disgust me. John & Kate? Wow, what a mess. Octomommy? Does she really need a comment? I can't say I've never watched them - I had fun with I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! (although I now know why people really make fun of Speidi). And I used to watch the Real Housewives of NYC, but that was more because I missed NYC than anything else!

I think it's like a train wreck, it's so horrible to watch but you can't seem to stop watching.   :-[

LOL... my sentiments exactly!  Can't stand the Kardashians but there I am, watching them "take Miami" on E!  :P

Now there is my pet peeve right there. I could go on for hours, I want them to bring back wholesome family comedies, it seems the only ones they do put out our too vulgar to watch, especially with your children, they learn everything in a 30 minute episode. I would rather live reality then watch someone elses. Just one persons opinion that probably don't matter much, since the shows are everywhere all over tv.

This is a tough one because there's so many of them!  I love shows like Hells Kitchen and American Idol, but other shows that are supposed to be reality but really aren't are crappy.  I just found out that my brother also loves Hells Kitchen-we were going to a nice restaurant with him and his wife and he and i were joking about going in yelling "It's RAAWWW, you Stupid COW!!"  We laughed the whole night :)  How can you not laugh at some of those shows??

I honestly love reality shows that show growth.

It's amazing to see how people grow. Show's like biggest loser can change people's lives, only for the better. Becoming a skinner, healthier person can only help you, and inspire others to do the same.

There are also shows that project runway and top chef, that exhibit how people grow in terms of their skill, and passion. Besides, when I watch top chef, I want to go into the kitchen, and try to make something amazing, or try and look up a new recipie.

There are too many... too many part 2's and three's to the same person. and then the next reality show is by someone who was on the previous reality show. i am tired of seeing the same people and different shows. get real people to have a chance of money or love or whatever...not the same ol people!!!!

I think they can be compared to WWE or WWF (whatever it's called this week) wrestling....mostly fake. I have to admit that I am addicted to Survivor and The Biggest Loser though. I agree that it is getting out of control as well. Pretty soon there will be reality shows with women competiong to see who can go into labor the soonest...or has TLC already done that one.

When they first started getting big, I enjoyed some of them, the only one I watch is Top Chef.

Now I hate them and wish they would just die off.  They need to make a specific channel and put everyone of them on it and take them off the other stations.
