I believe the sexual intercourse did occur under the influence of the drugs he gave them (as he admitted), but I can't think to bring myself to think of it as actual 'rape' since the women just say 'he gave me a drug' not 'he force me to take a pill'.

A man/woman cannot legally consent to sexual activity while under the influence of drugs/alcohol. Whether she took the drugs willing or not does not change that.

I can't help but follow because it's on local TV every day.

My thoughts?  I thought there was a statutory limit on most criminal cases except murder and when they run out. This happened 20 years ago? How can they bring charges of rape from 20 years ago? It's a he said, she said. There is no evidence. I think the DA should just forget it.

It came out as a mistrial because the poor jurors were stuck deliberating for 6 days and usually a judge orders a mistrial after a deadlocked jury after 2 tries. This lasted 6 times. They really are trying to get him on this...plus the prosecutor stated there will be another trial. He's not going to let this rest.  I say let it go. No evidence. Doesn't matter that other women came out and said the same thing. They were all willing at one time to go to his room. BTW, this woman ADMITTED UNDER OATH that she had a "thing" for him and that it wasn't the first time they had sex. She just didn't want to have sex with him "that" time.

It's big mouth Gloria Allred pushing this deal, expecting to make a fortune out of another star she maligns.  Yeah, I can't stand her or her daughter.

Not sure where the 20 years part is coming from. It as one year. The incident happened in 2004 and was reported in 2005. There was a civil suit and agreement between the parties. Cosby later broke the confidentiality  agreement and the records became public in 2015. The new DA though there was enough evidence to bring criminal charges.
