like to host a barbecue in the yard for their family during summer months.
you see a photo of a father standing in front of the grill.
fathers are depicted in that way.
yet,
a father does much more than that.

My dad is 83 years old and he is the only parent we have left, he has Dementia, he doesn't pronounce his words like he used too, some of them is very jumbled and unrecognizable. You just have to listen closely to what is being said. But his health wise is good mostly, he moves around really well, but still thinks he can do anything, gets upset with you when you tell him, he can't be doing that any more.

I did not have a relationship with my dad so I really didn't know him. However, I am married to a man that is a true father in every sense of the word.  God, my Father in Heaven, has filled all the blank spaces in me that my earthly father has left unfulfilled.

I have a very limited memory of my dad.  He was killed in an accident when I was 10.  I can remember some fun things we did together, and i remember being the apple of his eye, but the memories are few, 😥  I still visit his grave, Memorial Day, his birthday, and Christmas and place flowers on his grave.

My dad is 80, he has become very forgetful and he shakes pretty bad. He would do better if he would use a cane, but he refuses, so when he stands up to walk we all worry he might fall because he is so wobbley. But over all he is doing pretty good healthwise.
