When is the last time you went to the ocean?

I live in Utah so it's very unusual for me to see and spend time near the ocean.  It's pretty special when I can spend time on the beach.

I think it's been at least 12 years, for me.

What about you?

I stopped in Daytona Beach three years ago on the way home from a convention in Orlando. I love the Ocean!

It has been about 12 years for me too. I probably will never see the ocean again

I last went to the ocean in Cape May, NJ on vacation with my daughter just after my granddaughter was born a couple years ago. I never go into ocean water because I am fearful of what can be there that you can't see and might step on, like a shark or something.

I have never seen an ocean

Two years ago I was in Virginia.  We stopped at Cape Henry and walked in the ocean there and also at Virginia Beach.

We used to go deep sea fishing every year for 15 years. We haven't seen the ocean for another 15 years except for one cod fishing trip in 2005, which was the first time in 10 years.  We don't bother anymore because the quotas are so small, it isn't productive or cost effective. It's cheaper to stay home and buy the fish from the fish market.

A long time and that is sad considering I live only about 30 miles away but they don't let you park/ride on the beach near me anymore and I am disabled to the point I don't think I could make it to somewhere I could enjoy it.  Although north of here is a beach that has benches near the road and I may be able to make it out there to sit and look at the ocean.  Oh well

I live in middle Tennessee and it has been about 6 years since I went to the beach.  I want to go on a curise this summer if I can find someone that wants to go with me.   Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

It has been at least four years since I have been to the beach.  I went with my daughter's family to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the weekend.

It's been years. I don't enjoy going to the ocean, I don't like sand! I'd much rather go for a trip to the mountains.
