I like Christmas because of the weather, and all the beautiful lights and how the whole family gets together and has fun :) It's a warm feeling i just wish we had snow! that would be nice. Living in az, we don't get white Christmases

I enjoy both holidays:-) I love Thanksgiving as it my family gets together and we have an opportunity to express and gratitude and blessings to the family and to God. I love Christmas because my only brother comes home and gets to spend a few days with his two nephews and the family. I enjoy Christmas but I think that our society has made it overrated in terms of presenting gifts to our children and others. Due to the economy our family is doing hand made gifts this year!

My other favorite is Halloween because I get to dress up and go trick-or-treating with my youngest son:-)

Thanksgiving because of food and family.  I'm not a Christian and I think Xmas is way too commercialized anyway.

Christmas. I love to get gifts for people. THere's nothing like the feeling you get when you get someone the perfect gift. Thanksgiving is just over stuffing yourself with food lol. Definitely prefer Christmas.

Christmas. You get a nice dinner/lunch like Thanksgiving, plus you get a lot of presents! What could be better?

I  have  lost my  taste  for  Christmas, because  every time  I go  shopping  in  December  I see  several  moms  dragging screaming  kids  around  as they  look for  gifts  they  feel obligated to buy. It gets  a  little depressing.

Yes, Christmas can be discouraging to some, and it's sad that some people have lost sight of what the JOY of Christmas should be about. Getting lost in the commercial aspect of any holiday can be frustrating. But I still love Christmas - I love to watch the excitement of the kids on Christmas Eve when they can't fall asleep, it's contagious  :)   and to hear them up in the morning talking in excited whispers as they look for their names on presents under the trees - it's just one of those moments that being a parent is a wonderful, magical thing.
