Best Book You Have Ever Read

I am a bookworm in every sense of the word. I read nearly everything of quality that I can get my hands on. So what are your favorite books that I should look into reading?

I have read so many books I honestly can't say lol.  But for self motivation you should definitely read Rich Dad Poor Dad, Think and Grow Rich, and Write it down make it happen.

Swan Song by Robert McGammon.  I have read it 4x and my 80 year old grandmother read it as well.  Long and unbelievable story line

Pretty much anything by Dean R Koontz! I can only think of maybe one or two of his books that were in the least bit disappointing.! I have a hard time putting his books down.

I loved Pearl Buck's The Good Earth about the growth of a Chinese family. But there are zillions of good books out there. I try to read at least two books every month.

I have become passionate about the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon.  There are eight books in the series and number nine is being written at present.  I came across the books when I was at the library looking for an audio book to take on a road trip.  I read the synopsis on the back of the first book and was very skeptical.  But once we listened to that book, my husband and I were so hooked that now my daughter and her friend are into it and we recommend it to anyone who will listen.  I have never enjoyed a book (books) this much.  I do recommend the audio books because the reader Davina Porter is incredible, doing the voices and dialects.  But when I got to book eight, my library didn't have the audio book, so I checked out the hardback instead.  Then the BEST thing happened.  My library agreed to order the audio book for me.  So now I'm listening and reading the same book all at the same time.  I'm loving it and getting more out of it this way. I guess you can tell I love the books.  I can't imagine anyone not liking them.

Living With Joy by Sanaya Roman.

I was able to easily connect with the information.  This book is channeled so you might want to avoid it if you're a narrow minded individual.

i love to read...so i dont know that i actually have a favorite book..

My top three favorite books will always be:  Gone with the wind, The secret garden and The Grapes of Wrath.  No matter what I have read before or since those are my favorite books.  It was disturbing reading but I also liked "Lord of the flies"
