On this day, 1959...
« on: May 24, 2017, 08:01:06 am »
As I was reading paid to click section of FusionCash, I thought this is a good subject for a blog: First house with built-in bomb shelter exhibited (Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania). Wow, do you have a fallout bunker for a doomsday survival? I do not have an underground bomb shelter. Should we worry? Do you worry about this? Would a underground safety room make my property more valuable?  Have a gr8 day,  :present:

I would say that is valuable. You might want to look at the entire underground deal to see if it's still in great condition. Since it is an old structure. If it can be repair great if not, well it won't be any good when disaster strikes.

No I don't have one, but when I was little one of our neighbors had one built.  It was under their patio.  Their daughter took us down one day to see it.  I remember it was kind of small and cement on all sides, floor and bottom.  Kind of creepy to me even then.

Think it is a smart option if you have it. Let's face it, our country has many enemies.

I guess it could be used for two things, i had a underground safety room when I lived in OK ... but it was for a tornado bunker and man did we have  allot  of them, I remember going to the A & W up the road from my house and the parking lot was full of storm chasers, kind of neat seeing the equipment they set up and the huge tank cars but very scary when  it's a mile away from your home. My property was worth more with the shelter.
