there are a few to chose from.
you can use them interchangeably.
why not?
I get a check in the mail from one of them.

I use them too, I have 3 cashback sites that I use depending on which one gives the highest %.  It's usually 1-3%, but sometimes it can be high, like 10% when there's a promotion.

There is nothing better that buying something and seeing the price drop due to sale or coupons ect.   It really pays to bargain shop

I use ebates and topcashback the most.  One even gives another % off when you use their credit card.

This is very good info I will have to look into it.  I get rewards from my credit card but that's it.

I love my cashback sites.  I just had a "big fat check" deposited into my PayPal account for purchases that I was making anyway but received $$ for clicking on their site before placing my order.  It is like freebies for nothing!
Have a wonderful day!

eBates is the best one so far! If you download the app, some times the percent back is higher when purchasing through your phone. :)

I also use ebates and have received several checks from them.  Not huge checks, but something is better than nothing.  I also use a couple of apps on my phone.

I have never heard of a "cashback" site before. Can somebody please explain exactly what they are and how they work plus name some good ones?

I only shop through Swagbucks, if I remember.
My CC gives cash back, but nothing really significant.
I tried eBates years ago, but for some reason didn't get credit a lot of times, it was more of a hassle... I should check it out again.

Let's say you want to buy something from a store online.  Instead of going directly to the store's website, you go to your favorite cashback site and search for the store's name and click on their link to that store's website.  Think of it like a referral link where when you make a purchase the cashback site earns some money and shares some with you.

Like others said, ebates is pretty good.  I also use befrugal and topcashback.  They're all free to sign up but maybe you can ask your friends if they use a cashback site.  These sites often have referral programs where both the referrer and referee gets a bonus.

The only site I use for cashback shopping is ebates. I sometimes use swagbucks for cashback shopping.

I think I downloaded ebates awhile back but didn't use it often. Might have to check back into it.
