I didn't even remember it was a holiday until I saw some messages on the internet LOL... :)

i don't celebrate but my co worker and her friends had a big party at el nopal last night and i could hear the music and laughter at my house --i live right behind the el nopal here ! it sounded like lots of fun but i just wasn't up for it

I didn't do anything. The only thing I would want to do is eat at a restaurant but I wouldn't celebrate the holiday. I don't know enough about it.

I don't know if you would call it celebrating Cinco de Mayo, but a few friends and I went out for margaritas at a local Mexican restaurant last night. The stems of their glasses were green cacti which was pretty cool.

I find the holiday hard for me to celebrate because I don't know of any Mexicans I've heard of.

it is a celebration of the Mexican Army's victory over France at the Battle of Puebla.

we had a party with fake mustaches, sombreros, pepper necklaces, tiny mariachis,and Margarita drinks.
two ladies danced for us.

I didn't celebrate..only thing I did was make cupcakes and sugar cookies at work with an ole theme.  I think there was more hoopla over "May the fourth be with you."
