there are times when it is very difficult to find a place to park.
concerts can be jam packed.
parking garages are a nuisance. [you can get dizzy going around those circles from tier to tier.]
With reserved parking, someone may still accidentally take your spot.
there are separate parking lots for employees and customers.

i agree ! and i like to have lots of room to park --meaning my truck is big and it takes me some room to park it cause i am a nervous parker ! lol and i don't want to be close to anyone so they can hit my truck !

I learned a long time ago to not go where i am going to have to park a long way away from the event, nor do i like to park in small spaces or above ground. Taxi's are expensive and sometimes you have to wait for one. So i find other things to do.   I would just catch a bus and go. If the bus does not run after a certain time, i made sure i was there waiting for it.
