LeftOvers
« on: May 03, 2017, 08:29:50 am »
Now usually I am not a big fan of left overs..
But there are certain foods that tickle my fancy
as a second day meal
example..
Pizza.. Cold pizza is so good next day..
Tacos... Granted they are not made.. but
the meat goes in the fridge and you just warm
up the tortillas mm mm mm so good next day
Chicken strips.. They are also good next day
and cold.. as long as they are made right..
and not soggy next day..
How do you feel about leftovers?
What is a food you love as a leftover?

Like you,  I am not a fan of leftovers.  However, my mom's leftovers the day after Thanksgiving are great.  Her homemade crescent rolls are delicious!

Left over night for us is usually on Saturday. It is a good way to have a quick meal and not have to make a new one.

Whenever I make a meal, I make extra on purpose so there will be leftovers the next day (that way healthy meals are always made ahead & makes it less tempting to grab an unhealthy food in a rush.)

Also, I always make sure there is a bowl of steamed broccoli, cooked chicken,  & hard-boiled eggs in the fridge for the week.  Makes for a quick meal or snack.

(Leftover pizza....is the bomb! )
