Fibromyalgia or arthritis suffers and housework

Something as simple as vaccumning your apartment can wipe me out when
we have chronic pain. Yesterday, I vaccumned the main hallway, bedroon, library
livng room and dining room and started feeling the pain in my back, so I stopped
and will start again today. I have to do my housework in stages or I will be hurting
For days.

How do you handle your pain when doing housework?

There is no handling it.  I do very little but do the best I can.  I can't vacuum so if my son's don't do it well it doesn't get done.  I do the kitchen and what I can do in the bathroom and that is about it.  I'm sorry for your difficulty and I sure understand it.

Folding the cloths was the hardest of my chores, I broke my arm.

Housework is very difficult when suffering from these ailments    I take a lot of breaks but I tend to do too much when I feel better and then I pay later

I have to do things in stages.  Do something and then rest for awhile.  I have arthritis in both knees that hurt all the time.  I never get any relief.

i know the feeling i have fibromyalgia and arthritis also it makes it very hard to do normal things  and the lyrica does not help
