Steve Stephens the killer who shot a complete stranger and posted it on Facebook, killed himself.  He was spotted at a McDonalds in Erie PA.  A police chase started and he killed himself.

He took the lives of people like they don't matter, that old man he shot for no reason, he didn't do anything to him, there is a special place for people like Steve Stephens, and he is going to get what is coming to him.

I'm glad the McDonald's girl was alert and recognized him.  He caused all that hurt because of a breakup that's really sad.

I hadn't heard about any of this as it was happening.  I came home from work last night and my 10 year old daughter was filling me in.  How & where she had heard about this I have no idea... she was scared to death though.  People are loosing there minds everywhere more than ever these days.

Good. Someone on my facebook said he was a "tortured soul" like we should feel sorry for him.  I don't I feel sorry for his innocent victim(s) and their families. Now I might feel some sympathy for the killer's family if they didn't know he needed to get help but not even them if they knew and didn't try.

I much prefer the more lighthearted topics since all we get on the news is tragic trash.

Good for him. He's saving the taxpayers a lot of money by not having to pay for a trial and jurors that would probably find him guilty anyway and then he'd only get a life sentence which taxpayers would also foot the bill.

I have no sympathy for him, but do for his family and Mr. Goodwin's family.

I saw that and I feel that he took the coward's way out.  He should have stood trial and paid for his crime against and innocent man.

He did the world a favor. More murderers should give themselves the death penalty and stop wasting tax money.

Honestly, I call that karma.  It's a shame social media has become a forum for serial killers to boast about their 'work'.  I know about 20min after he posted people were freaked out while other's doubted it was even real.  A half an hour after that the police claimed it was a hoax.  I'm guessing they did it to calm the people down.  I think it's fitting he shoots himself.  Though it's the cowards way out, it saves taxpayers time and money so they don't have to go through the whole circus of selecting a jury only to give him the death sentence anyway.  Yep, you can certainly give that death to karma.

Wasn't man enough to take his punshiment, but then we don't have to support him the rest of his life.  But it is so sad that he killed those people for no other reason then he hated  them, even though he did not even know him.  There are some very sick people  out there.
