Pompous wind bag!
« on: April 15, 2017, 09:36:26 am »
Having or exhibiting self-importance or being arrogant !!  My mom called them wind bags!!  There is a woman I know who really thinks she is something. They did have a big business and lost it and are now broke. But she is still as big as life pretending they have it all..... and treats people different who wouldn't fit in her fake upper-class world.  Have you every called a person out or confronted them for being a jerk!

For me it's easier to just walk away.   Not worth it to call them out, deep down they know what's happened and are probably really hurting inside.   Just ignore it, let them be.

I called someone out for treating individuals like they were her own personal slaves.  It was not pretty and I knew that she and I would no longer be "friends" after that.

Sometimes you just need to say it so it doesn't get "bottled up" inside.
Have a great day!

Increasingly, I'm losing my patience with people like this. And with people who like to play "the victim" in everything. I know a couple of people in both categories, I've had to distance myself from them in order to keep my sanity... and cool!  :(

But, sometimes, something just needs to be said for the benefit of all around these people. And I hate it to be me who says it... I'd rather just fade out on them rather than having a big scene!

I tend to  tune them out after a while.  It is really hard to get loose from some of them. But  i sometimes say excuse me, but i need to go  and start for the door and they will follow still going on about what ever they are  talking about.  i do tend to  try  not to be around them, what a waset of space and air.

They treat others like that because they are afraid of ending up in "the poor house".
Avoid them because there is something mentally wrong with characters like those you
are describing.

I love to confront people like that IF they still belittle others.
I say to them in front of others.
Hi Mr/Mrs ..... So? How's business.. (In a fairly loud voice)
Most time get flustered n embarrassed, walk away..
Job done... :D

Does it really matter?  Why bother "calling her out"?  Do you just want to make her look bad in front of others?  That makes you as bad as her.  Just go in with your life and stay away from her.

I probably did in younger days but now I would just ignore them because lets face it they are more worthy of being pitied than called out.  We all have problems some of us just exhibit them differently.

I just don't hang around or want to be near the people who act better.
