Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna
« on: April 08, 2017, 10:30:34 am »
I know.  Who is Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna?

Apparently, she is a girl from New Jersey who was recently in the news because she was accepted to all 8 Ivy League Schools.  Sounds like she has a big decision to make.

I have no desire to trade places with her where going to school is concerned; however, I would love to know what it feels like to be an overachiever.

What are your thoughts about all this?

Have a great day!

I saw an interview that she'll pick whichever school gives her the most financial aid.

I think her parents did a good job.

I seen this news article this week. I think it is great to get a choice of different schools to be accepted to.I still think she has to pay for them though :)

I read that article, I can't imagine how proud her parents must be.  She has a hard decision to make, they are all top rated schools

I read that online.  Her parents must be very proud of her.  My daughter was offered scholarships from several schools and had her choice of which school to attend - none were Ivy League, though.  She chose the University of Kentucky.  She had so many scholarships that she netted between $3,000 - $5,000 in extra cash each semester.
Have a wonderful day!
