Pot hole
« on: April 06, 2017, 04:27:46 am »
Yesterday was not a good morning for me. I was driving to work and hit a pot hole
and blew my tire. I got it taken care of and was about 1 hour 1/2 late for work. I  am glad
that I am a member of a road service program.

What state do you live in?  Here in mid-Michigan we have so many potholes that there are more potholes than road.  When is infrastructure of this country going to be addressed?  Surely this is something both Republicans and Democrats can agree on.  In Michigan our taxes were raised to help address this issue.  I think there are so many bad roads here that it is going to take years to get them completed and then it will be time to start again.

Wow, city or county need to fix these roads, especially when its raining and you can't see if a pothole is in your view, when people start complaining about how bad roads are then maybe they'll fix them, but they take their time looking into it.

It seems like here in our state they are more likely to use the taxes we pay for gas  will be used i the  big cities and those of us in the rural  part of the state get nothing.  Oh well they at least  pretend to work on the freeways but in the meantime our  rural roads are a joke.

I live in Minnesota and we have so many potholes that there are more potholes than roads also, and some are so big kids and pets can go missing. (kidding) We also have frost boils that are really scary the ground wiggles when you walk on it .

Once my front passenger tire fell in a pot hole but there was no damage.  I called the city and they came and repaired it.  We have lots of potholes after winter leading into spring but they can be dangerous and do a lot of damage.

Same here in California, we have gasoline taxes that were to fix the road & were to keep the roads free, ie no toll roads.  Well we are getting a ton of toll roads now, and the taxes that were supposed to be for roads are being taken to pay for pensions.

Now our state government just increased the taxes on gas 12 cents a gallon & increased auto licenses...

I ran onto a pot hole on the freeway the other day, I thought I was going to bounce off the road, that scared me.

I hate pot hole on the freeway, no time to change the lane, at night time you just can't see well, just wonder where is our tax money goes when you need them to fix

I agree! Seems like there's more hole than road most everywhere.
