I have a co-worker exactly like that.  I don't think there is an illness she has not had.  You know when you see someone you might say how are you, well we all learned that's one thing you never ask her!

I used to know someone who would, as they say doctor hop. She would make people crazy just listening to her ramble on like she knew everything. Basically this person was a junkie who thought if it came from the doctor it was okay. I don't know what happened to her but I do hope she got help or the least the doctors around the area found out her little game.

Oh my, I'm not alone on this... She is so bad, she x my heart has a serious injury list just like on the Rain Man Movie from back in the day!!  Remember this??   I'm so bashed up from falling on the Ice I now have to use a walker to get around, but this woman has a hang nail that can top it. Her kids nick named her Biff.... I laughed when her son said it sounds like a good name for a fake accident.

When I was in high school, I had a friend that always asked me to go into the building, or bathroom and even her house first and check it out. I really got tired of that and stopped seeing her. Just until now I realize that an imagination is a real scare and she could be with me now because she was a friend of mine geez feelings are unreal at times

YES ... I love her dearly but if she does not hear what she wants to hear from a doctor she will find another doctor until the doctor agrees that something is wrong with her... sad.

I work with one.  She says how her doctor doesn't just give out pills and you got to really be sick blah blah blah but she goes to the doctor at least once a month (got that freebie government insurance) and then she gets at least 1-2 days off from work.  So she gets 1 and a half or 2 and a half days off.  She always leaves early to go to the doctor.

I have known people who are like this.  They are constantly saying they are sick or if you have anything wrong with you they have had it only worse.

This woman is known by her first name at all the Emergency Rooms In the town they live and her kids joke about getting her a hospital number tennis bracelet for a gift one she could just always have on with her very own number.  And yes she's always taking days off to go to Dr. appts.  never have they found anything wrong with her, I'm shocked they don't kick her out, but that would be the time she'd have something real. Her house and yard also are  so clean you could eat off the sidewalks, I stopped going to her house because she makes you leave your shoes outside the door and In Minnesota in Jan. -20 shoes are pretty hard to deal with.

Yes, I sure do. One of my best friends is one. Sometimes I have the tendency to be one but I'm definitely not extreme about it.

I know someone who goes to the ER 2 times a week for 1 thing or another but they can never find anything wrong.

I know a few people like that.  Then there are the few who are legitly always having health complications.  What really irks me is when someone brings things on themselves.... and then they moan and groan about how hard things are on them.  Sheesh.

I think everyone knows someone who is a hypochondriac.  It really kind of sad .. kind of like the boy who cried wolf ... kind of hard to know when they are really sick
