Does anyone own a Echo or Echo Dot?

I currently own 2 & am planning on buying 2 more.
I love it.   I get the time, the weather.   It controls my heater & several of my lights on the HUE system.   I try to play the Jeopardy game every day. Every day I tell it good morning & it gives me the fact of the day.   Just adds to life.   Best part by far is waking up & getting the time without having to open your eyes...

There are a ton of apps you can add on.   If you have Amazon prime it will read your books & play your music. 

It will stream radio stations & play iheart radio & a ton of other stuff without having the Prime.
I like being able to talk to it & have it do stuff... it is the wave of the future when all houses will be automated.   

I asked Alexa/Echo if it worked for the CIA- you know how they are allegedly spying on everyone, & Amazon has a contract with CIA -   & Alexa says it's not employed by them, I work for Amazon....  lol

I am skeptical of those devices in their current newby forms. I saw on TV where a child can walk up to an Amazon Echo and say "I'd like a new dollhouse and some cookies" and the device just orders them from amazon! Parents get stuck with the bill,
