On Fusioncash I have 10 referrals. they have been active in over a year. in other programs, I have about 20 referrals combined. I have a few that are active but others don't even try. I will never understand why some people sign up for a program and do not stay active there.  ???

Because it ends up being crap and not worth their time.  It has been over 3 months and I just now have enough to cash out.  You spend 45 minutes doing a survey and then get kicked out.  Or you finish the survey and it never pays you.  Most people do not have all day to dedicate to sites like this just trying to make a few pennies.  When you work all day you don't have time to sit and stare at a computer screen and then get nothing in return.

I do agree if you have no intention of doing anything why sign up.  Maybe they signed up just to get you to stop asking them. lol.  I have one referral and they have not been active in a long time.  Mostly because she got tired of wasting as long as 45 minutes and getting kicked out of the survey on the last question.  Or like the one I done recently that was 2 or 3 days.  Almost an hour each day.  After the very last question and I hit submit I swear it said "your profile did not qualify to take this survey".  WELL WHY DID YOU SEND ME THE INVITATION.  AND WHY DID YOU LET ME PROCEED!  That is why people are not active.  It is getting til it is a waste of time.

I have one here and 9 on a different site, the one here started out with a bang and fizzeled the 9 on the other site have made me a wopping 14 cents!  Man it would be nice to have 10 of me i cash out every month since I started. I think it's they don't give it time to get hooked, I'd rather do this than play the slots at a Casino and I've won big at some of them.  Even showing my stuff I've earned people still go about never hooking up doing this.  I get my Social Security from getting hurt but i'm working on getting off that and opening a small home business, these surveys are my fun money.

lol  I wonder if it is the same site I have 14 cents from referrals on?  I have 4 referrals and have made 14 cents from the referrals.

Don't overlook that they are being exposed to everyone's ads and stories if they are still online, so who knows when they will decide to come back and start earning you bonus money? I have had them do it many times.

The bottom line is, don't worry about that which you have no control over and just keep getting more.

I agree with Oldbuddy.  We never have control over what other people do or don't do.  I have deadbeat referrals too but I understand that they might have their own personal reasons for taking a break.  Their is never any guarantee; which is why, I stopped paying people to be my referral.  Sometimes paying them to register is a way of setting myself up to be disappointed.

Uh If somebody called me a dead beat referral I would delete the account and open another one so they did not get any credit from me at all.  And I would never pay anybody to sign up with my referral link.  I am also pretty sure that is against the TOS of this site.  Just like lying and saying you can make thousands per month.  Even though some of their own ads and banners say that. haha

I've had my down times, where life just got too busy to keep up but I ALWAYS come back!  I have the same problem.  I think it's because people think that it's a super easy way to make a bunch of money, but then when they realize they have to log in like everyday and put some work into it, they get bored and give up.

You cannot make enough money on this site to earn a living.  I worked all day and sometimes I am too tired to "log in and put some effort in to it".  Especially when you spend almost an hour doing a survey only to get kicked out on the last question or never getting credited for doing the survey.  And most surveys pay less than $1.  Use to I could make at least $30-$40 per month pretty easily.  I was not referred by any one.  I don't remember where I saw the link to the site but I came to the site and signed up myself.  Did not sign up under a link.  I think most people do that.  My link is on my website and my site supposedly is getting traffic.  Unless the tracker is lying to me. haha

I once told someone but all they did was signup, they did not even make it to their 1st checkout. so sometimes i think those referrals are unnecessary because some do not have any interest

You also have to remember people grossly exaggerate about how much money you can make doing surveys.  I have seen ads claiming you can be paid $75 per survey.  I have seen some pretty exaggerated claims in these forums.  I have received $35 for participating in a focus group that lasted 90 minutes but you have to actively participate and provide quality comments.  When people sign up for these sites and find out you get more like 50 cents per survey and it takes 40 minutes to do the survey they are not interested.  So when you tell people about the site the first thing they think is the huge payouts you see in these ads.  And if you tell people most surveys pay less than 75 cents they probably are not going to be too gung-ho to sign up.
