I like him, was a good actor. He had upcoming movies too, that is not fair. He died suffering complications from surgery. I am going to miss him.

I just saw a tribute to him on the local news because he grew up in Ft. Worth, TX.  When I heard the news I did not associate the name with his work until I saw the tribute -- loved him in Twister.  A talent lost too soon.  :'(

I heard that this morning. I was just watching Aliens. I always enjoyed watching him. My mom and I saw Twister a bunch of times in the theater. Thought he was one of the best parts in True Lies. There wasn't a lot he couldn't do.

Can't believe another Hollywood Legend is gone.  Can't we have some kind of break before tragedy strikes again?  I'll certainly miss him but at least he left behind a load of movies we can watch if every we get too nostalgic.

Oh, that's too bad! I think I only ever saw him in Titanic. He was pretty young wasn't he. :(

I was surprised, I had just seen him on The Late Late Show talking about how he had met his wife on a bus 30+ years ago, it was so sweet.

My favorite movies that he was in Twister, and Tombstone, tho there were so many great ones

That was really unexpected news. The really sad part was how he has afraid of the operation prior to his death.

I heard he had a stroke after having major heart surgery. It's so sad, my thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

BigedShult, I've seen him in many movies! My favorites are terminator, weird science, true lies, & aliens! Just a few, I'm just finding out after his death that he's been in so many productions & movies! Why is it that many of our icons end up dying right when they're just getting their lives into a new start again! Michael Jackson was starting his this is it come back before he died, Carrie Fisher was reentering her role as an elder princess Leia, & now, bill Paxton! Such a waste, RIP BP!
