National Protest - February 17, 2017
« on: February 12, 2017, 10:33:13 am »
I understand that a National Protest is scheduled for February 17, 2017.  I'm amazed at the percentage of people who are choosing to protest and I believe people have good reasons for what they're doing.

Will you take time to join the protest on that day?

If so, are you planning to hold a sign?  If so, what does your sign say?

Is there a specific reason why you would protest?

Have a great day!

Protesting these days is ridiculous because 9 out of 10 people  doing the darn protesting don't even KNOW what they're PROTESTING ABOUT!!

I didn't know there was a protest. What is it for? Regardless of what it is for I won't be involved though.

There have been protests going on for years. I think it just gives people a reason to vent. now when a person does harm to someone or damage a property, then it is not a protest. it is just plain stupidity.  :peace:

People protesting, most of them clueless as to what they're actually protesting... It's like we're living in the 1960s & 70s all over again...  ::)

What's hilarious is when people make statements that contradict their "stance" on an issue. I once had a friend tell me he was "intolerant of intolerance". He didn't get it when I said that made him as "intolerant" as the "intolerant" people he couldn't stand. He said that HIS intolerance was "completely different"...  ???

This seems like those "don't buy gas" on this day protests.

I'll be at work.

I have not heard of National Protest Day, and if there is one scheduled, I will not be protesting.  I assume it's to protest against President Trump, and I think we should stop with the protests and give him a chance.

I do not plan to attend any protest or participate. I wish it would all stop. Don't they all see its a waste of their time. I really hate the ones that get out of hand and do destruction. So sad. Where are we heading??

It's ridiculous that people will get out and participate in a protest!  They should be at work or if not employed they should be looking for a job.  People are getting crazier and crazier!  I haven't heard anything about a protest scheduled but I'm sure there probably is somewhere.  Seems to be the fad lately.  lol

I just googled it (since it seems stupid to schedule a protest on a work day..), it's not just a protest they're calling for a national general strike.  So the point IS to not show up for work.  Seems like a protest not a lot of people can afford to participate in.

That the guy they don't like legitimately won the presidential election.

I didn't know there was going to be a national protest day.  I assume it's about Trump, which honestly I find totally ridiculous.  Enough is enough, it doesn't matter if you voted for him or not, if you agree that he should be president or not, bottom line is he won.,  there is nothing you can do about it until next election.  Stop embarrassing yourself and this country.  You are making us the laughing stock of the world.
